Ms. M:

Running With Scissors

June 01, 2006

My achy breaky back and asshat attorneys.

Yah, we're still not moved in and it looks as though this may not happen today either. The damned attorneys keep fucking everything up. They forgot one document and we were told that they would get it this afternoon, but there wouldn't be any attorney's available. Two days we've been supposed to close now.
WHAT-THE-FUCK-EVER
I don't know how much more moving and picking up heavy shit my poor back can take.
If I die somebody please take care of my blog! *cheesy, sorrowful, pouty look*
Love ya'll! Chat you up soon!!

Lawyers as usual... We also had problems selling the house, took lots of time. Even simple things like "SEND THIS FAX" didnt always work out.

Jerry! I need a Jerry Fix! YES, it would appear that this is SOP for attorneys. Like I said, ASSHATS.

Sage, It seems ridiculous and retarded that attorneys make so much f'ing money, but their bank of knowledge of the law is what we pay for so they can find us loopholes and other bullshit. WHATEVER.

alex, How about I put on it "Send this fax straight up your ass"? Maybe then I might light a fire under these dickheads. They are truly worthless!

noojes, I feel like I'm 'haning' by a thread. My bod is killing me from moving and waiting. I hope I never have to move AGAIN!!!!

Q: What do you have when you've got 12 lawyers buried up to their necks in sand?

A: Not enough sand.

Requiring a lawyer to complete the sale of property makes as much sense to me as New Jersey requiring every gas station to be Full Service. The believed benefits don't outway the extra cost.

I've told my wife the next house we buy will be in one of those forward thinking states that only requires the title company and the parties involved to complete the transaction.

Oh, hell yes! I agree 100%. WTF is wrong with my state? I live in GA and, as progressive and prolific as technology is in this state, I'm still flabbergasted at the backward ass thinking and mindset of many of the people!
