Running With Scissors

Christopher Walken 2008

I guess "more cow bell" is really on my mind these days.

Look what I found on fark.com...

Did anyone else know that Christopher Walken is running for President in 2008?

He is saying all the right things, at least things I want to hear.

Knowing that our electoral college is Democrat/Republican oriented, the poor guy doesn't really stand a chance. I wish the Democratic party would take a good hard look at him. Obviously the Republicans have their own Evangelical, fiduciary agenda.

Ronald Reagan, once an actor, became a governor and then President. He was solid as our President for most of his presidency until Alzheimer's took over, but he was also our oldest president to date. He is hailed as one of the better Presidents this country has had.

I'm curious to see what my fellow bloggers think and what you might do if given a ballot with Christopher Walken on it. Read his platform and give me your opinion!

By the way, today is Christopher Walken's 63rd birthday.

Happy Birthday Cow Bell Boy!

I would absolutely without a doubt vote for Walken! If he got voted in, I might actually start liking this country again! Unfortunately he probably won't win and we'll elect some other douchebag like Bush. Ugh.

nietzsche striptease: Love me some Walken too!!!

webmiztris: yes, douchebag is right. I think we need someone who actually wants to do well by this country's citizens rather than corporate American and big oil. Why not someone like CW??? I would SO vote for him.

Tho I'd love it if Walken were running... I think that thing is a hoaxe... I saw that bit months back, made the papers, too.

But it does beg the acknowledgement that it wouldn't take much to find an IMPROVEMENT for the Commander in Chief.

If it's true--it would be great.

But this is the first I've heard of it, and being a dedicated viewer of Fox News (much to your dismay) I find it hard to believe that they haven't taken this and ran with it.

Maven: I just found this! You're so on top of the news. I'm jealous!

Dusty: I hope it's for real. I wonder if the rest of the country might just back him as a Presidential candidate!!!?

I would vote for him over Hillary in a heartbeat.

I don't think hes got a snowballs chance in hell but I will burn my vote on him before I vote for dumb or dumber..aka a crummy repube or democrap.

OMG, I would vote for him in a HEARTBEAT and I SWEAR, I would listen to every single State of the Nation address, just to hear him speak.

Can you imagine the debates? Oy.

I'm already moist.

CP.

Christopher Walken is a great actor, but with all those roles he had in the past where he played nuts, gangsters, and Satan, I'm not sure if I could trust him. But I would take him over Arnold if he ever decided to run for governor!

Okay, I think the general consensus is that he'd get our vote. I say we start a campaign to get his ass in the White House! CP's right, I think the State of the Union addresses would be awesome! I mean, the man can act so he could surely deliver a speech much better than any politician any day of the week.

It's called 'charisma' people.

Say it with me

CHARISMA!!!

Sorry M, it was a hoax. This was circulating several months ago, he'd damn sure get my vote.

Maybe we should start a write-in ballot campaign for him.
